Come, Sit, Stay, Read!
Man's best friend can do a lot more than fetch and roll over. Research now suggests that dogs can actually help children learn to read.

We visit the library:
the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month - 3:30-4:30 PM
September - June. (we give the dogs the summer off)

Animal Assisted Therapy is a significant part of treatment for many people who are physically, socially, emotionally or cognitively challenged.
Patients in hospitals or nursing homes often benefit from AAT. Perhaps this is because of the unique bond that canines and humans share. Therapy dogs truly make a difference in the lives of the people they meet.
